Multiple desktops
This SHOULD be easy, but I just can't figure out how to do it; I want to have "multiple desktops" ( sort of like win3x ) One desktop, with all my audio process icons a different desktop for my internet link/icons a diferent desktop for my photo process progs etc. etc. How can I set this up ?? <RJ>

Working with multiple desktops takes very little extra work on X Windows. To put this in perspective, I'm one of those people that complain about the lack of efficiency inherent in context menus--and the time lost there is measured in *milliseconds*.

I have a need to be able to synchronize and share a single user's Palm database with two desktops. Hopefully, someone can give me some tips on how this might be accomplished And if so, can I then edit a person's calendar info from multiple desktops? Any solutions would really be appreciated. License problem with multiple desktops
It's the feature that places four buttons at on the taskbar and those buttons alternate between various programs/windows being open so it looks like you have multiple desktops. I think that's a fantastic feature and haven't yet tracked down anything like that for the Mac. Yes, and a great one it is.
