I want multiple desktop directories that can be displayed in a frame, and each behaving as a normal desktop. I might have :\Documents and Settings\wrcousert\Desktop1, :\Documents and So what you want could be called a Desktop Bar, like a Taskbar except for switching desktops instead of switching tasks, right?

Also, some Windows users who've seen my Linux setups with multiple desktops have commented that they wished Windows had such a feature. It's certainly possible that Apple and/or Microsoft have done usability studies and found the feature would confuse more people than it'd help, but that's sheer speculation.
